This piece came about because we wanted to create something unique especially for an extremely important man in our lives - Tawa's dad, Inez' Brother in Law, Aroha's Father in Law - John Armstrong. A man of wonderful integrity and compassion, and a beloved family doctor to many in our community. We wanted to show him how proud we are of him and how much we love him! He wears his taonga in acknowledgement of his love for his whanau (family), community, and who he is in this world. He mihi atu ki a koe Papa!
