How Do We Make It?

All our products are handmade, by us. No manufacturing plants or smoky factories - just cool people (i.e. us and our friends and family) having fun making beautiful pieces for other cool people! We are 100% New Zealand Maori owned and operated, and are passionate about preserving our beautiful country.

We handcraft each and every Too Luscious piece. We either create the originals ourselves, or ask local Rotorua Master Carvers to handcarve our pieces in the traditional way from greenstone, wood, or bone.

We then hand-make our own silicone moulds, mix, colour and pour the resin by hand, then hand finish and polish each piece. Molds have a very limited life, so all our jewellery is in limited numbers.

Time, care, effort and a little piece of us goes into every piece, which makes each one special. They are also made with care for the environment, so you can feel good knowing you chose a product that is good to the earth.
